Restaurant Project Experience

Restaurant projects can be challenging.  There's  kitchen equipment layout, traffic flow for customers and staff, and maximizing dining room seating.  Then there's the various health and building code requirements, that vary from one restaurant to the next.  Finally, there's usually a need for a cost-effective, yet distinctive "look" that your customers recognize and enjoy.  You will appreciate our expertise in this area!

We have done over 1,000 Restaurant projects from coast-to-coast.  Many of these projects (but not all) are based on a prototype building design.  The types of Restaurant projects we have worked with include:

  • Bagels
  • Bar-B-Que
  • Buffet
  • Yogurt
  • Cafeteria
  • Chicken
  • Chinese
  • Cookies
  • Dinnerhouse
  • Fast Food
  • Food Bars
  • Italian
  • Mexican
  • Pizza
  • Sandwich
  • Snack Bars

To us, prototype building design means several things.  It can mean a free-standing new construction project where the prototype building design is "site-adapted" for a specific location.  Or, it can be a restaurant in a mall where prototypical elements are adjusted to meet a specific function and "look" in an unique variable footprint location.  Or, it can be an existing restaurant that needs remodeling to "look like" the latest prototype.

Benchmark Group Gets Silver

On May 7, 2008, Gov. Mike Beebe honored Arkansas businesses that provide resources and support to employees seeking to balance the needs of work and family.  Benchmark Group received one of the awards, a silver for medium sized employers.

"With increased strains on many families, companies that help employees balance work and life issues are increasingly valuable," Beebe said. "I hope the winners will become role models for other business leaders who want to create programs that lead to happy employees and higher productivity."  [more...]
